Here is the rendition of the hymn that I taped. It will be part of a national project. Across the countries groups and parishes in the Anglican Church of Canada will sing and tape themselves... and donate to the Council of the North.

One evening event was a campfire. Here is Maggie, Mary Ruth Snyder's daughter, telling us a few jokes. Shortly after this we sang and video'd ourselves in "Amazing Grace."

Ana Watts and Bob Bettson did a great job organizing the event, along with others. Here's Ana talking about forgetting her underwear. She lives in Fredericton but stayed with us at the hotel, the Holiday Day Inn about 12 miles up the river from the city.

The Anglican Editors met in Fredericton June 9 to 12. It is always great to get together with people who do much the same job as I do, compare notes, and have a few drinks. This was our business session.

Colin and Winnie's wedding

And story telling. Winnie and Colin often seem to invite people to the best parties, and this I think was the best of the best.

Ros and I went to Colin Miles and Winnie Newell's wedding. They decided to tie the knot after many years of being together. The reception was in the community centre house near Jericho Beach on May 18. A great time had by all!

It's been really warm, in the high 20s, very summer-like. We did some gardening.

The small bush in the front yard has bloomed and I love its deep red colour.

Jane, Russell, and Finnegan, just before the ceremony at which Russell received his Bachelor of Fine Arts diploma from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. A proud moment for all.

Grandma didn't think at first this was a video, but Finn knew. Taken by Jane.

Finn was most interested in watching his mother take pictures.

The sculpture at the HSBC bank downtown Vancouver... a giant pendulum that swings back and forth. Really nice.

Katherine

Archbishop Katherine held a press conference at a church near Seattle Centre, which only drew one secular reporter, so our attendance was appreciated. She was quite impressive.

Also representing Canada was Mary Ruth Snyder of the Diocesan Post in Victoria, the Diocese of BC. We went to the Seattle Centre at one point, not because the Dalai Lama was speaking (he was), but to see the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, Katherine Jefferts Schori.
