Despite the skeptical look, I think Jack might even vote for Gregor, a young man running on being atypical for the NDP - for the last few years he's owned and operated a fruit juice company. He's a businessman. (I think Grandpa's look was at Rosalind, who took these pictures... I was off working.)

It's the gardener's birthday today. Here's a recent picture when we were working in the garden during a short break in our wet weather. Ros snips and prunes, I get rid of the mess - that's our division of labour.

At Christ Church Cathedral, Dean Peter Elliott sent the cyclists on their way, annointing noses with sun screen... and
Accompanying them to the Tsawwasen ferry terminal were Emilie Smith (behind) and Paul Borthistle, and myself. It took most of the day. Luckily, the rain held off most of the time, and in the morning skies were blue.
And bicycles with "3 in 1" oil. The dean had a short ceremony printed up for the blessing of the bikes and bicyclists.
