The sculpture at the HSBC bank downtown Vancouver... a giant pendulum that swings back and forth. Really nice.

Katherine
Archbishop Katherine held a press conference at a church near Seattle Centre, which only drew one secular reporter, so our attendance was appreciated. She was quite impressive.
MaryRuth
Also representing Canada was Mary Ruth Snyder of the Diocesan Post in Victoria, the Diocese of BC. We went to the Seattle Centre at one point, not because the Dalai Lama was speaking (he was), but to see the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, Katherine Jefferts Schori.
FatherMatthew
Lots of interesting sessions and workshops. Here Matthew Moretz of Rye, NY, presented his YouTube blog, "Father Matthew Presents." He promotes the Episcopal Church on it, and it has received quite a bit of attention. Currently, he's doing a series on the sacraments.
Deca
It was an interesting hotel we met in, the Deca, which was recently refurbished in its original Art Deco style.
EpiscopalComm
Last week, April 9-11, I went to Seattle to take part in the Episcopal Communicators annual gathering. It's much like our Anglican Editors Association, only a larger - 130 people instead of 30 (max.) The theme was "Emerging communications for an emerging church."

Rob's birthday
This I took to show how my cell phone camera works, but it came out pretty good. We had cake one afternoon last week to note Rob's birthday. Eileen in the background.
Playing-Charades
We played charades again at Easter. Here's Ben Elliott performing, Naomi and Nick on the couch, and Russell trying to think up a harder phrase for the other side.
Easter2008
Easter - and guess who got all the attention. Jane and her mother Maria spent it on Finnegan, who however had to share the limelight with his cousin Elliott.
