Now I know babies at two months don't really smile. Their faces go through all sorts of expressions, in milliseconds. It was fun to catch this face.

Russell and Jane came over this weekend. Naomi and Nick were also here. I think the new parents like their little boy, two months old this day.

It was a lovely day. A view from Cambie bridge with the seawall, boats and a Skytrain in the background.

And what will be Vancouver's tallest building going up down the street on Georgia, half hotel, half condos, and to my mind at this point really quite ugly.

And I don't remember noticing before the train and the ship beside BC's coat of arms in stone on the front of the hotel. Perhaps the train is the Royal Hudson?

I did wander outside for a while and noted the flags on the Vancouver Hotel across the street--Australia, China, Japan, Mexico--where guests are coming from these days.

Christ Church Cathedral's Vestry last Sunday, Feb. 24. Not terribly eventful, I must say. But I felt I should be there, along with the other 99 parishioners who attended.

Here's the moon Jan. 22. This month it went into eclipse and turned red but I didn't get that. This shot was on my digital camera using the 200 mm lens from my old Olympus OM. Neat, eh?
