And what will be Vancouver's tallest building going up down the street on Georgia, half hotel, half condos, and to my mind at this point really quite ugly.

And I don't remember noticing before the train and the ship beside BC's coat of arms in stone on the front of the hotel. Perhaps the train is the Royal Hudson?

I did wander outside for a while and noted the flags on the Vancouver Hotel across the street--Australia, China, Japan, Mexico--where guests are coming from these days.

Christ Church Cathedral's Vestry last Sunday, Feb. 24. Not terribly eventful, I must say. But I felt I should be there, along with the other 99 parishioners who attended.

Here's the moon Jan. 22. This month it went into eclipse and turned red but I didn't get that. This shot was on my digital camera using the 200 mm lens from my old Olympus OM. Neat, eh?

Finnigan's mother and father brought the babe to our home Saturday evening.

Back home, a trio now, before midnight, and a well-deserved sleep.

Making sure all is right with the newest member of the family before setting off.

As did a very tired mother, leaning on her sister, and accompanied by Blair, Andrea's husband, whom you see carrying Elliott, their boy born about six week ago.

The stay in hospital wasn't long. Shortly after 11 pm Finnigan went home.
